Bacter Blast Cleanser is formulated to target and destroy acne at the source while also being gentle enough for dry and sensitive skin. A number of key ingredients including Turmeric, Marjoram Extract, and 5% Salicylic Acid work in tandem to achieve this. Turmeric blocks 5-alpha-reductase which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, and in the process, reduces sebum production. Marjoram Extract blocks IL-6 tumor necrosis factor-alpha and histamine generated in the follicle during acne development. Salicylic Acid assists with removing dead skin cells and decreasing redness and inflammation.
